Rebecca Scott is the 32nd person in a descendant report beginning with the earliest known ancestor of our Callin family, (1.) James Callin. This descendant report uses the Register Style of the New England Historic and Genealogical Society.

Fourth Generation
32. Rebecca Scott (Sarah Callin-3, James “2nd-2, James “1st”-1) was born on 22 Apr 1837 in Michigan, while her family was enroute from Ohio to their new home in Illinois. She grew up in Harrison, Winnebago County, Illinois.
Rebecca Scott and Edward Sharp were married on 13 Dec 1856 in Winnebago County, Illinois. Edward Sharp, son of Michael (1801–1881) and Mary "Polly" (1806–1886) Sharp, was born on 22 Oct 1835 in New York. After they married, Edward and Rebecca lived near his family in West Point, Columbia, Wisconsin, for a few years.
They soon moved back to Illinois, settling in Burritt Township, Winnebago County. Edward died on 11 Aug 1887 at the age of 51 was buried in North Burritt Cemetery in Winnebago County, Illinois.
Rebecca remained in Burritt through at least 1900 before moving to Rockford, where she lived out her days at 442 Jilson avenue. She died on 28 Aug 1928 at the age of 89 in Rockford City and she was buried on 30 Aug 1928 with her husband in North Burritt Cemetery.
Edward Sharp and Rebecca Scott had six children:
99 i. Alice Augusta Sharp, born 18 July 1859, Illinois; married Duncan F Rogers, 16 Apr 1881, Winnebago County, Illinois; died 28 Oct 1914, Winnebago County, Illinois.
100 ii. William T Sharp, born Oct 1860, Illinois; married Katherine Mary Drain, 7 Mar 1882, Winnebago County, Illinois; died 1926.
101 iii. Donna A Sharp, born 19 Feb 1865, Winnebago County, Illinois; married Joseph R Randerson, 20 Nov 1884, Winnebago County; died 16 Feb 1940, Rockford, Winnebago County.
102 iv. Charles E Sharp, born 5 Jun 1872, Burritt, Winnebago, Illinois; married Minnie Maud Champion, 1895; died 21 Jan 1929, Shirland, Winnebago, Illinois.
103 v. Fred Edward Sharp, born 10 Aug 1878, Burritt, Winnebago, Illinois; married Lillie May Taylor, 4 Oct 1899, Winnebago, Illinois; died 4 Apr 1951, Winnebago County, Illinois.
104 vi. Jesse Martin Sharp, born 25 Apr 1886, Burritt, Winnebago, Illinois; married Ellen Amanda Kelley, 23 Sep 1908, Winnebago County, Illinois; married Naomi G Lindman, 18 Aug 1926, Winnebago, Illinois; died 16 Jan 1947, Roscoe, Winnebago, Illinois.
