24.
Pamelia Callin (Hugh-3, James "2nd"-2, James "1st"-1) was born 9 Mar 1828 in Mansfield, Richland, Ohio. She married George Faxon on 28 Feb 1844, probably in Louisa County, Iowa. George was the son of Isaac Davis Faxon (1791–1821) and Corinna Lewis (1789–1878), born on 8 Aug 1819 in Aurora, Portage County, Ohio. The Faxon Family History states "He moved soon after his marriage to Fredonia, Iowa, and in 1849, went to California, by the overland route, returning in 1871. He is now living in Cleveland, Ohio, in the employ of the East Cleveland Street Railroad Co." George appears with his family in Fredonia on the 1850 Census, and in the 1860s in Canon Creek, in Humboldt County, California. After appearing in Eel River, Humboldt County, in 1870, records do place him in Cleveland, driving railroad cars until at least 1882. His date of death and burial are not known.

Having been abandoned by her first husband, Pamelia married Jeremiah Smith on 9 Aug 1855, Muscatine County, Iowa. However, she died just a couple of months later, on 30 Oct 1855, and her children went to live with her mother in Fredonia.
