Ina Belle Scott is the 98th person in a descendant report beginning with the earliest known ancestor of our Callin family, (1.) James Callin. This descendant report uses the Register Style of the New England Historic and Genealogical Society.

Fifth Generation
98. Ina Belle Scott (James-4, Sarah Callin-3, John-2, James "1st"-1) was born on 12 May 1883 and grew up in Shirland, Winnebago County, Illinois. Ina and Bert Allen Deuel were married on 6 Mar 1901 in Winnebago County. Bert was the son of William Allen Deuel (1854–1921) and Alice Elizabeth Mckee (1854–1883), and was born on 15 Nov 1879 in Nashville, Barton County, Missouri. He grew up in Shirland.
Bert and Ina farmed and raised their five daughters and two sons in Shirland. Bert also worked for a milling company, and they later took in boarders in their house in Rockford. In 1940 or 1941, however, they divorced, and Bert lived alone in Rockford in 1942. He died on 12 Oct 1947 at the age of 66 and was buried on 14 Oct 1947 in Shirland Cemetery, Winnebago County, Illinois.
Ina married Joseph Simon Peck on 25 Sep 1943 in Dubuque County, Iowa. Joe Peck was born on 5 Feb 1889 in McGregor, Clayton County, Iowa, the son of Austro-Hungarian immigrants, Joseph Peck (1851–1945) and Mary Hatchet (or Hackel) (1851–1902). Joe grew up in Clayton County, and came to Rockford in the 1920s, finding work as a hired man. In 1930, he was a contractor who boarded in the Deuel household, and in 1940, he was listed as a caretaker in their home in Loves Park. He lived in Durand, Winnebago County, Illinois in 1942.
Joe died on 1 Jan 1950 at the age of 60 and was buried in Shirland Cemetery, Winnebago County, Illinois. Ina died on 25 Nov 1974 at the age of 91 in Rockford, and was buried in Shirland Cemetery, Winnebago County, Illinois.
Bert Allen Deuel and Ina Belle Scott had the following children:

312 iv. Dwight Allen Deuel, born 11 July 1915, Illinois; married Deborah Ann Ray, 6 June 1980, Miami-Dade County, Florida; died 18 June 1983, Brooksville, Hernando County, Florida.
313 v. Theda Belle Deuel, born 16 Apr 1918, Winnebago County, Illinois; married William Archer Royall.
314 vi. Elizabeth Jewel Deuel, born 6 May 1921, Rockford, Winnebago County, Illinois; married Gunnard Eric Alfredson, 14 Sep 1940, Rockford, Winnebago County, Illinois; died 3 March 2002, Rockford, Winnebago County, Illinois.
315 vii. Robert Joseph Deuel, born 13 May 1925; married Marjorie Marie Kennett; died 17 July 1994, Carson City, Nevada.
